Linux Administrator
Warsaw/Remote
We are looking for a Linux Administrator who wants to pursue a career in DevOps filed.
You must to have:
- very good knowledge of Linux system administration (min. 2 years of experience),
- ability to configure network infrastructure (TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, DNS, Firewall, http),
- ability to automate repetitive tasks using Ansible tools and bash scripts,
- experience with at least one of the cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure,
- basic knowledge of database administration of MySQL, PostreSQL,
- knowledge of virtualization basics: Vmware, ProxMox,
- communicative English, reading technical documentation.
You may have:
- knowledge of Python is welcome.
You would be responsible for:
- proactively maintaining and developing all Linux compute infrastructure to maintain a constant uptime,
- engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs,
- maintaining best practices on managing systems and services across all environments,
- fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions,
- proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning,
- manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers,
- workstations, and network hardware,
- create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks,
- providing input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment,
- collaborating with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes,
- IT Hardware and software support for internal users and teams,
- implementing tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure.
