About the role:
We are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to help us build and implement scalable People & Culture standards as we continue to grow. With our vision, mission, and values already defined, we now need someone to translate them into our daily business operations.
While we scale to 120+ specialists at deepsense.ai, our current HR team excels at supporting internal processes, building relationships, and recruiting talent. What we need now is someone to bring structure, strategy, business acumen, and clear processes to our P&C function. You will partner directly with the Head of Operations, Delivery Managers, and the broader leadership team to build an organization that scales efficiently while maintaining high-performance standards.
If you are practical, comfortable with data-driven decision-making, possess strong task management skills, and can provide constructive advice to senior leadership – this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic partner to leadership
- Work closely with the Leadership Team as a trusted advisor, ensuring alignment between business goals and people strategy.
- Initiate and lead critical conversations regarding people management and organizational changes.
- Challenge the status quo when necessary and provide a clear perspective on the human implications of business decisions.
Build and operationalize the P&C function
- Design and implement the core processes required for scale (e.g., performance reviews, hiring plans, skill development frameworks, and compensation plans).
- Take ownership of HR tools and systems; ensure data integrity and create metrics/reports that drive decision-making.
- Standardize HR documentation and ensure full compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Enable seamless operations
- Collaborate with Operations teams (IT, Admin, Finance, Compliance) and Marketing to deliver a seamless employee experience.
- Co-create and implement a People & Culture and Employer Branding strategy aligned with our growth targets.
- Lead the transition within the HR team from intuition-based decisions to data-informed approaches.
Support our engineering culture as we scale
- Partner with Engineering Managers to build high-performing teams through coaching, feedback loops, and leadership development.
- Design and run development programs that strengthen leadership capabilities across the company.
- Help preserve what makes our culture unique while implementing the necessary structure for growth.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven, hands-on HR Business Partner experience (at least 3 years), ideally gained in IT/Tech environments.
- Strategic & Analytical Mindset: You understand the business context behind HR decisions and can translate numbers into strategy.
- Organizational Mastery: A track record of bringing structure to ambiguous situations and building processes from the ground up.
- Influence: Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives, and build credible partnerships.
- Data Fluency: You are comfortable with metrics and use them to support your recommendations.
- Tech-Savviness: Strong skills with Google Workspace (especially Sheets and Slides) and Task Management tools.
- Communication: Direct communication style – you are comfortable with difficult conversations and can assertively present your arguments.
- Language: Fluent in English (C1) and Polish.
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting an organization through a change/scale-up phase.
- Experience with feedback culture tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of CliftonStrengths (Gallup) methodology.
We offer:
- B2B contract.
- A meaningful role in the AI space where HR actually shapes how the company grows.
- A learning culture with access to AI tools, technical knowledge, and people who love to share what they know.
- Real influence on HR – you co-create processes that are practical, transparent and genuinely helpful for managers and teams.
- Growth & development supported by internal learning opportunities and an external training budget.
- Benefits that matter: medical care, Multisport, English lessons, theatre discounts, free lunch, flexible hours, team events and a training budget.
- A culture built on collaboration, trust and open communication, not hierarchy or politics.
- Optional bonus: if you play an instrument, you can join our SOTA band for the annual end-year Party.
