Position overview
We’re looking for an AI Product Manager to bring the product and user lens to our delivery teams across engagements. Working shoulder to shoulder with our delivery managers, you figure out what a client actually needs, run discovery, and shape what’s worth building and why — usually across several projects at once. On the engagements where the product question is make-or-break, you go deeper and own the product direction end to end. You own the “what and why”; the delivery manager owns the “how” — two halves of the same job.
About deepsense.ai
deepsense.ai is a 120-person AI/ML consultancy with Anthropic and OpenAI partner credentials. For over a decade we’ve delivered applied AI projects for companies like J&J, Sky, John Deere, and GLS — spanning LLM applications, agents, MLOps, and data science. We’re a people-first organization that believes in deep technical craft and real ownership.
About the role
You work alongside our delivery managers as their product and discovery counterpart on shared engagements. Most of the time that’s advisory: you dip into several projects, run client discovery, shape the direction, and keep the work pointed at real user value while the delivery manager runs delivery. On engagements where product direction is make-or-break — and especially where the client doesn’t bring their own product lead — you go deep and take ownership of the product: the priorities, the backlog, the what-next.
Either way, you own the product question — what we build and why. The delivery manager owns the rest (the plan, the client relationship, the team). You’re the one making sure we build the right thing — and you also help level up our own product muscle on the initiatives we build for ourselves.
Responsibilities
- Partner with delivery managers as the product and user lens across several engagements — run discovery, shape what’s worth building, and keep a clear view of the user value behind it
- Run client discovery and facilitation — uncover what clients actually need (not just what they ask for), surface the use-cases worth pursuing, and turn that into a clear direction the team can build
- On product-critical engagements, take ownership of the product direction — the priorities, the backlog, and the what-next — in partnership with the delivery manager
- Be the user-and-value counterpart during pre-sales and scoping — make sure proposals are grounded in real product value, not just technical feasibility
- Translate between what AI can do and what users actually need — keep both honest
- Help level up our internal product capability — bring discovery and prioritisation discipline to the projects we build for ourselves
You must have
- 6-8 years in product management, product ownership, or product consulting, with real responsibility for shaping what gets built and why. You’ve shaped product vision and strategy, designed experiences from concept to prototype, and collaborated with engineers and business stakeholders.
- A track record of running discovery and turning ambiguous client needs into a clear, prioritised product direction
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder skills — you can run a discovery workshop that actually shifts how a team thinks, and hold the line on priorities
- Enough AI/LLM product fluency to shape these products honestly — you know what LLMs and agents can and can’t do well
- Comfort working across several engagements at once, and going deep on the ones that need it. High ownership and autonomy to prioritize your own engagement
- Experience working with cross-functional teams – software engineers, delivery managers, clients and business development roles
- Excellent English communication skills (C1), written and spoken
Nice to have
- Consultancy or client-facing product experience, juggling multiple stakeholders
- A product discovery toolkit: user interviews, opportunity solution trees, outcome metrics, experimentation
- Light prototyping or design sense — able to sketch a concept to communicate an idea (we’re not hiring for visual craft, but it helps)
- Agile fluency (Scrum / Kanban) and backlog discipline for owner-mode engagements
- A commercial instinct — comfort contributing to proposals and spotting expansion opportunities
We offer
- Variety — the product and discovery lens across a portfolio of real AI engagements, not one product in one company
- Close collaboration with Anthropic and OpenAI through our partnerships, working at the frontier of applied AI
- A team of 120+ specialists you can learn from and build with
- Competitive compensation benchmarked to the market
- Hybrid working — offices and coworks in major Polish cities
- Conference budget and learning allowance
- Equipment of your choice
Why join us
Most product roles tie you to one product in one company. Here you bring product thinking to a portfolio of AI engagements — shaping what gets built across clients and industries, going deep where it matters, and doing it with engineers who ship to production, not slideware. If you want the breadth of consulting and the depth of real product ownership in the same role, this gives you both.
